Facebook Introduces New Call To Action Buttons for Business Pages

In their continuing effort to make interacting with local businesses more effective on mobile, today Facebook announced new call to action (CTA) buttons and functionality for Facebook Business Pages.  More than 1 billion people access Facebook Business Pages every month, and the new rollout is intended to provide a more mobile-friendly and seamless experience.  While Facebook had previously released more prominently featured call to action buttons on Business Pages, customers were often directed to non-mobile-friendly experiences after clicking – resulting in drop-offs and lost conversions.  The new features deliver and end-to-end mobile friendliness in order to make sure businesses capture leads, sales, and bookings when customers engage on the platform.

Even better – the new CTA buttons integrate with multiple industry-standard tools like Delivery.com, HomeAdvisor, and EvenrtBrite that businesses are already using, making integration easy:

  • Start Orders – Accept orders with delivery.com or Slice
  • Book Now – Book appointments with HomeAdvisor, MyTime, and other services
  • Buy Tickets – Sell tickets with EventBrite and TicketMaster
  • See Showtimes – Provide show schedules and sell tickets with Fandango

Facebook also introduced three new CTA options outside of the integrations listed above that automatically launch a Messenger thread with your business:

  • Get Quote – Give people the option to request a quote for your service
  • Request Time – Coordinate your bookings
  • Shop Now – Showcase products and let people make purchases from the Shop section

So what does this mean for you?  Our apartment clients can now utilize the “Request Time” CTA to book showings and walk-throughs.  Business clients can sell products, accept delivery orders, and book service appointments with clients, all through their Facebook Business Pages.

Easy Media clients can easily update their Facebook Business Page CTA button by sending a request to support@easymedia.us or calling us at (503) 746-6290, and specifying the call-to-action you would like to utilize.
